Karigar management software where the balance is in grams

Software that treats a karigar as an account rather than a page in a diary. It records the metal issued to him and returned by him in weight, the work he finished, the loss on his own transactions against the limit you allow, and what is payable at the rate on his master — so what he holds and what he is owed are two numbers from the same records.

Karigar Issue records metal going out at a weight and Karigar Return records it coming back at a weight, against the same bag and order. The balance is the difference, in grams. Karigar Reports shows the whole history over any period, and the Issue / Return Reports and Metal Transfer Reports read the same transactions.

Yes. Loss Master holds the allowed loss per process and metal, so the loss on a karigar’s own issue and return is measured against a limit rather than accepted as wastage. Loss Approval is where anything past the limit has to be signed off by a person, and the Loss Report shows loss by karigar, department and metal.

From the rate on Karigar Master and the work on the record. Karigar Pay Report produces what is payable for a period, Contractor Pay Reports does the same for contractors, and Work Payment Voucher is the voucher that pays it against the report it came from. Nothing has to be re-typed from a slip.

Yes. Contractor Master holds the rates, Contractor Productions and Contractor Report show the work, and Contractor Pay Reports settle it. For lots sent outside, Open Jobwork adds Issue Lot, Received Lot and Received Job Work, and Gate Pass, Factory Out and External Outward record metal actually leaving the premises.

Yes, because chain works on lots rather than bags. Chain Karigar, Chain Contractor, Chain Karigar Balance and Chain Contractor Balance are their own screens in the chain department, alongside Lots Split, Lot Group, Lot Transfer, Lot Bulk Transfer and Chain Department Target.

Yes. My Department gives a head his received bags, pending bags, department stock, target, delays, loss, QC rejects, karigars and contractors — and nothing from another department. Each user gets exactly the screens their role allows, with create, edit, delete and export rights set per screen.

Every create, edit and delete is on the Activity Log with the user and the time, and it is not a setting anyone can switch off. Stock Validation and Validation History let you set a physical count against the system, and Balance Analysis in Data Insights reads the balances rather than being typed.
